Aethynodiolum (INN), or ethynodiol (BAN) is a steroidal progestin related to norethisterone which was never marketed. While etynodiol is sometimes used as a synonym for etynodiol diacetate, it usually refers to etynodiol diacetate (see Ethynodiol diacetate), not etynodiol.
