Alve Tablet 60 mg is indicated in- Irritable Bowel Syndrome Bowel movement disturbances caused by small sacs or pouches in the wall of the gut (diverticular disease) Abdominal pain associated with menstrual periods (Primary dysmenorrhea) Relief of other conditions associated with spasm of involuntary muscleDosage
Alve Tablet 60 mg dosage
Adult: Orally: 60-120 mg 1-3 times daily.Side Effects
Possible side effects may include nausea, headache, dizziness, itching, rash and allergic reactions.Precaution
Avoid Alve Tablet 60 mg in patients with intestinal obstruction or paralytic ileus.Interaction
There are no drug interactions reported with this medicine.Pregnancy & Breastfeeding use
Although no teratogenic effects have been reported, use during pregnancy or lactation is not recommended as evidence of safety in preclinical studies are limited.Contraindication
Paralytic ileus or known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.Special Warning
Children under 12 years: Not recommendedAcute Overdose
Can produce hypotension and atropine like-toxic effects. Management for overdose is as like as atropine poisoning with continuation of supportive therapy for hypotension.Storage Condition
