Uses

This medication is used to relieve pain, itching, and discomfort from minor skin irritations such as poison ivy, poison oak, and poison sumac. It also helps to dry the oozing and weeping caused by irritation due to these plants.

Calamin M Lotion 15%+5%+5% is also used to associated treatment for these conditions: Acute Wounds, Burns first degree, Burns second degree, Dermatitis, Eczematous, Diaper Rash, Herpes Labialis, Injuries to the Nipple (Fissures and Cracks) Resulting Breastfeeding, Intertrigo, Pain, Pruritus, Sensitive Skin, Skin Irritation, Skin candida, Sunburn, Wounds, Chafing, Damaged skin, Dry, cracked skin, Facial rash, Heat rash, Superficial Wounds, Watery skin lesions, Astringent, Nutritional supplementation

Side Effects

A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction including: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing.
