Di-dak-sol

Di-dak-sol commonly known as bleach, is most frequently used as a disinfecting agent. It is a broad-spectrum disinfectant that is effective for the disinfection of viruses, bacteria, fungi, and mycobacterium.

Di-dak-sol is a dangerous and corrosive substance. While working with Di-dak-sol, safety measures have to be taken to protect workers and the environment.Di-dak-sol should not come in contact with air, because that will cause it to disintegrate.

Di-dak-sol is effective against bacteria, viruses and fungi.Di-dak-sol disinfects the same way as chlorine does.

Subsequent to gulping Di-dak-sol the impacts are stomach pain, a burning sensation, coughing, loose bowels, an irritated throat and heaving. It causes redness and pain in eyes and skin. After prolonged exposure, the skin can get sensitive.Di-dak-sol is harmful to water based life forms.

Exposure to household or industrial strength bleach at levels that do not affect the mother are unlikely to affect the health of the unborn child.

Di-dak-sol is very unlikely that a significant amount will be passed on through your breast milk.

The diluted Di-dak-sol can either be used by soaking a cloth or wipes in the solution or by using a spray bottle to apply it.

Di-dak-sol is highly reactive and volatile. At normal pH (6-8), Di-dak-sol can degrade substantially within 2-3 weeks. 

The treated water should smell slightly of chlorine to indicate that the impurities have been removed and it is safe to drink.

100 dilution of 5% Di-dak-sol is the usual recommendation. Use 1 part bleach to 99 parts cold tap water (1:100 dilution) for disinfection of surfaces.

Di-dak-sol is applied in swimming pools for water disinfection and oxidation.

Draw up 1ml of freshly-prepared Di-dak-sol and put it in first graduated cylinder, mix well. Draw up 1ml of solution from first graduated cylinder and put it in second graduated cylinder, and mix well.

Within minutes you will begin to see the results. We recommend leaving no longer than 3 hours.

The effectiveness of Di-dak-sol in the cleaning and disinfection processes depends on the concentration of available chlorine and the pH of the solution.

Di-dak-sol solution will not harm most surfaces as like paint.vinyl-coated wallpaper, vinyl canvas type papers, tile grout, stain, concrete, brick or other masonry surfaces.

Swallowing Di-dak-sol can lead to poisoning. Breathing Di-dak-sol fumes may also cause poisoning, especially if the product is mixed with ammonia.

Symptoms of Di-dak-sol poisoning may include: Burning, tearing red eyes. Burns of the esophagus. Chest pain or tightness.
