Ezyglip is a pharmaceutical drug for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. It belongs to the class of anti-diabetic drugs known as dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitors or Gliptins.

Adults can take 20 mg of Ezyglip once a day in general. If the effect isn't strong enough, the dosage can be raised by up to 40 mg once a day.

Ezyglip has been systematically evaluated in T2DM as monotherapy with diet and exercise and in combination with metformin, glimepiride, pioglitazone, and insulin in short-term (12 weeks) and long-term (52 weeks) studies.

What happen If I missed dose of Ezyglip?

If you have missed any dose of Ezyglip then take it as soon as you remember. If it is already time for the next dose then skip the missed dose and follow the regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to compensate for the missed one.

What happen if I overdose on Ezyglip?

Symptoms of overdose may include dizziness, fainting, sweating, tremors, confusion etc. Seek immediate medical help in case of an overdose.

What happen If I stop taking Ezyglip?

Do not stop taking Ezyglip without talking to your doctor. If you stop taking Ezyglip suddenly your diabetes may get worse. If you want to stop taking your medicine, speak to your doctor. They may be able to suggest an alternative treatment for your diabetes.

Can Ezyglip affect my kidney?

The study reported that maximum plasma concentration following a single oral dose of 20 mg Ezyglip was unaffected by mild, moderate and severe renal impairment.
