Treatment of infections caused by susceptible organisms especially Staph eg, osteomyelitis, septicaemia, endocarditis, superinfected cystic fibrosis, pneumonia, skin & soft tissue infections, surgical & traumatic wound infections.Dosage
Fucimax Tablet 250 mg dosage
Adult:250-500 mg every 8 hourlySkin & soft tissue infection: 250 mg twice daily.Side Effects
GI disturbances eg, dyspepsia, nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain, anorexia; jaundice & change of liver function.Precaution
Hepatic impairment, biliary obstruction or disease. Monitor hepatic function periodically in patients on high or prolonged oral doses. Avoid during 3rd trimester of pregnancy. Lactation. Premature, jaundiced, acidotic or seriously ill neonates.Interaction
Drugs metabolized by CYP450 isoenzymes.Pregnancy & Breastfeeding use
