Menthol acts as a acts as cough suppressant & topical analgesic. Turpentine oil is made from the resin of certain pine trees. It is used as medicine. Turpentine oil is applied to the skin for joint pain, muscle pain, nerve pain, and toothaches. Thymol has been used in alcohol solutions and in dusting powders for the treatment of tinea or ringworm infections, and was used in the United States to treat hookworm infections

Uses

This ointment is used for cold, flu, catarrh, headache, stiffness, congestion, muscle aches, sprains, strains, back pain, joint pain.

Gacorub is also used to associated treatment for these conditions: Arthritis, Backache, Common Cold, Contusions, Inflammatory Reaction caused by Insect Bites, Joint Pain, Muscle Cramps, Nasal Congestion, Pain caused by Insect Bites, Rash, Skin Irritation, Soreness, Muscle, Sunburn, Swelling caused by Insect Bites, Minor burns, Neck or back pain, Shoulder acheArthritis, Backache, Contusions, Joint Diseases, Joint Pain, Muscle Stiffness, Muscle Strain, Muscular Fatigue, Pain, Nerve, Plaque, Dental, Soreness, Muscle, Sprains, Skin disinfection

Dosage

Topical: Rub gently 3-4 minutes on the chest and back 2-3 times daily. Cover the rubbed area with warm clothes.

Inhalation: 1 tsf of ointment dissolved in boiled water and inhale the steam by mouth or nose as required.

Side Effects

Redness, irritation, rash or pruritis may occur with sensitive skin.

Precaution

Avoid contact with eyes. Should not be applied to wounds or damaged skin. Wash hand thoroughly after applying.
