Herbamed Asoxtan is a prescription drug that's been around since the 1940s. Doctors first used it to treat malaria. Today you're more likely to take it if you have rheumatoid arthritis or lupus.
Can I just stop taking Herbamed Asoxtan?
People may need to stop taking Herbamed Asoxtan because of side effects but they should not stop taking the drug on their own without the help of their medical provider. Plaquenil stays in the body for around three months and it may take a while for side effects to go away.
