How IL-22 fusion protein works

IL-22 fusion protein incorporates human interleukin 22’s (IL-22) natural epithelial cell growth-promoting activity as IL-22 plays critical roles in promoting tissue repair and suppressing bacterial infection. IL-22 fusion protein is currently being investigated against acute graft vs host disease, acute alcoholic hepatitis, inflammatory diseases, organ injuries, eventual fatal organ failures, and COVID-19.
