Quercus alba pollen, or oak white pollen, is a non-standardized allergen extract used for the diagnosis and treatment of allergic disease to grass pollen. It can be subcutaneously administered to initiate an immune response in case of an allergic reaction. Diagnostic allergenic extracts are primarily indicated for establishing clinical relevance of specific allergens to which the patient has been exposed and the degree of sensitivity the patient has toward that allergen.
