Tenepure is a pharmaceutical drug for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. It belongs to the class of anti-diabetic drugs known as dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitors or Gliptins.

Tenepure has been systematically evaluated in T2DM as monotherapy with diet and exercise and in combination with metformin, glimepiride, pioglitazone, and insulin in short-term (12 weeks) and long-term (52 weeks) studies.

If you have missed any dose of Tenepure then take it as soon as you remember. If it is already time for the next dose then skip the missed dose and follow the regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to compensate for the missed one.

Symptoms of overdose may include dizziness, fainting, sweating, tremors, confusion etc. Seek immediate medical help in case of an overdose.
