Isun Sr

Isun Sr is a drug used as a vasodilator in humans and equines. Isun Sr is a β₂ adrenoreceptor agonist that causes direct relaxation of uterine and vascular smooth muscle via β₂ receptors. Isun Sr relaxes the uterine smooth muscles and is used for treatment of pre-term labor and dysmenorrhea. It is absorbed in the gastrointestinal system and is excreted in urine.

Researchers in this study reported that Isun Sr was safe for treating acute pre-term labor and also as a maintenance therapy. Also, it was shown that prophylactic oral Isun Sr does not lower the risk of pre-term labor in high-risk, single pregnancies.

This Isun Sr works by relaxing the smooth muscle that surrounds small blood vessels causing vasodilation and potentially increasing blood flow to the hooves.

Common side effects of Isun Sr are include:

• weakness.
• dizziness.
• flushing (feeling of warmth)
• upset stomach.
• vomiting.
• stomach pain.

This means that it is not known whether Isun Sr will be harmful to an unborn baby. Do not take this medication without first talking to your doctor if you are pregnant or could become pregnant during treatment.

Isun Sr is taken by mouth with or without food, usually 3 to 4 times daily or as directed by your doctor.

Isun Sr comes in the form of tablet to take orally. It is usually taken 3-4 times in a day. It can be taken with food or on an empty stomach. Read the prescription label carefully before starting the medication.

This revealed a significant increase in distal limb temperature which occurred from 90 to 480 mins after Isun Sr administration.

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and take only the next regularly scheduled dose. Do not take a double dose of Isun Sr.

Seek emergency medical attention if an overdose is suspected. Symptoms of an isoxsuprine overdose include weakness, lightheadedness, fainting, nausea, and vomiting.

Isun Sr caused slight maternal hypotension and a transient acidosis, both of which returned to baseline values within 60 minutes.

There are no reports of problems with Isun Sr in breastfeeding babies.

The important adverse reactions of Isun Sr are tachycardia and orthostatic hypotension, but they occur only at high dosages.
