How Recombinant Human Basic Fibroblast Growth Factor works
Recombinant Human Basic Fibroblast Growth Factor, or basic fibroblast growth factor 2 (bFGF) is a recombinant human growth factor used to stimulate angiogenesis and keratinization in wound healing. It stimulates migration of monocytes, neutrophils, macrophages, fibroblasts and also assists in creation of granulation tissue (the tissue that replaces fibrin clots in healing wounds).
